Indie Hops has designed a hop development program that involves Oregon State University, several local farms, and pilot brewers to breed new hop varieties specific to Oregon’s Willamette Valley growing region. It is a fascinating process that brought forth its first two successful strains in 2018 after a 9-year intensive process.
We refreshed their visual identity and designed a system that could be consistent across their brand and embrace future hop varieties while providing opportunity to hightlight each hop’s unique qualities.
Embracing their indie craft spirit with obvious nods to their previous logos and colors, we created a fresh brand with a variety of graphic collateral for packaging, signage, apparel, and digital uses.
